The Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs also announced Libyan-Norwegian talks regarding the resumption of consular services by the Kingdom of Norway in Libya. According to the Libyan newspaper "Al-Wasat," the agenda of discussions held last April between the Libyan Ambassador to Turkey, Mustafa Al-Ghalib, and the Norwegian Ambassador to Turkey, Andres Gaarder, included the potential return of the Norwegian embassy to operate from Tripoli.

Al-Ghalib invited Norway to reopen its embassy in Tripoli, citing the improved political and security stability in the country. The Norwegian diplomat expressed his readiness to convey this invitation to his government.

The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) also announced that the Norwegian government has provided $380,000 to support the UNDP's local peacebuilding efforts in Libya, emphasizing that this contribution will benefit 30,000 individuals in the southern region.
